The new dashboard update is kinda like a new xbox.
Its a new experience and thats what get consumers excited.
Pretty much everyone i know like a new console release for the reason that when you turn it on for the first time you've got a different screen infront of you to play around with.
After the November* update the 360 will be fresh and new all again.
*Most sources point to a November update.
I bet that most regular posters on N4G are more passionate,play more games and are more knowledgable about games than so called 'review experts'.......
Take the fanboyism away and cut out the BS and i bet that from a pool of the most intelligent,pasionate posters on N4G that reviews of games would be unbiased and more accurate.
Without the 'gaming mafia' breathing down our necks and worries of being made redundant we are free to give honest reviews.

Well the two that stand out from the books are Kelly and Linda.
Linda is a sniper extraodinaire who is unmatched in distance killing - the bit in the books where she takes out 3 banshee pilots is awesome!
Kelly is unrivaled when it comes to speed and was the fastest of the Spartans.
Female/Male Spartans are all trained the same and are as bad ass as each other - though some excel in different areas.

Im from the UK and shop online for cheaper games and amongst my stores browsed are GAME,Amazon and PLAY.
Usually you can buy brand new games at the most expensive £39.99
I Got Ninja Gaiden 2 for £32.99 and have pre-ordered TNA impact for just £29.99
All past generations games have been pretty much the same.....
Mind you i remember packs of Spectrum computers games (We are the champions 5 pack springs to mind) for £...
Even though im a proud 360 owner i have to say that MS have really let down consumers this generation.
I cant think of another piece of hardware in history that has a failure rate this high.
Im sure they should have done a recall on every 360 sold (even if working ok) and given customers a choice....
Either their money back + £50
Or a brand new 360 that has all the issues sorted out whenever the faultless model was released + £100 ...
I wonder if they will do a Halo2 with the Arbiter thing.

Im guessing that in roughly 2 years the 360 will still be slightly ahead of the PS3 in hardware sold.
3 years time it will be pretty much even.
4 years and beyond the PS3 will be edging infront,but by then the new gen of consoles will be here.
I still cant see the Wii coming anywhere but 1st this gen though - still cant explain why it outsells the PS3 and 360 combined on occasion.

Graphics this good ive never seen on a console before - even games previewed for next years release.
Almost as good as Crysis visuals on a console costing $199 - awesome.
What with the improved gameplay,this will probably be the biggest game of the year.
If its true and EA do have their own dedicated servers then they arent all that.
Never ever had so many disconnects with a game than i did with LOTR BFME2 - if the game wasnt freezing, it was laggy like hell.
Pretty sure if you sat a player down and told him to guess which he was playing on - either P 2 P or dedicated then they wouldnt know the difference.

If you have got some spare $'s kicking around (credit crunch be damned) then a 360 purchase is well recommended.
